{Tutorial} Rosette Fairy Princess Wands

I recently made some fairy wands and wanted to share the instructions. They were very simple to make, but I must admit very time consuming. The price, and cuteness factor, more than made up for the time investment.

Supplies needed

1. Styrofoam balls

2. Wooden dowels

3. Hot glue (at least one stick per wand)

4. Streamers/ Crepe paper, or tissue paper cut into 2″ strips

step1.

Cut your crepe paper into strips about 18″ long,  I pre cut 30 strips to help cut down on hot glue waste

I then rolled and twisted them into tubes- {unlike rose rosettes I wanted them to lay flat against the styrofoam balls} For a few of the flowers I used two colors of paper to created a two-toned look

Next roll and tuck the paper {creating a snail shell shape}

Use hot glue to secure to Styrofoam ball, covering it entirely.

Use a pencil to create a hole in the Styrofoam ball, fill with a bit of hot glue and insert your wooden dowel. I purchased all supplies at dollar store and was able to make 6 wands for only $6, well worth the time investment.

The wands looked gorgeous as a centerpiece on the table

Thanks for sharing!
