The big focus for the sundae table was the death star. It took a few days to complete, but only a few minutes each day
Step 1: Cover the bottom of the chinese lantern with duct tape. I left top open to hang
Step 2: Paper mache the entire lantern for strength… I wanted it to last and later become a decoration in my sons room so I used 3 layers.
Step 3: Cut out a circle and paper mache the “death ray” indentation
Step 4: Spray paint and paint detail
