My dear friend, Michelle, contacted me about designing a baby shower to welcome her newest niece. After playing around with themes she selected a “Welcome to the Nest” baby shower. She asked the mom to be to come up with a fun color scheme. She chose; lime, hot pink and red which coordinated with the new nursery.
Dessert Table; Marshmallow pops, lemon cake, and raspberry cupcakes
I love how wiltons cupcake stand can easily be customized to suit any theme. We hot glued a miniature bird house to the top. When we were done the bird house was removed easily for the next use.
Beverage Table; IT, raspberry lemonade, customized water wraps. The tree display turned out so cute. We collected broken branches from the yard and dressed them up with mini tissue poms, and birds nest. A mini bunting tied in the theme.
Buffet table; featured hand made flowers and pinwheels. The bunting was later hung in the babies room.
Michelle had many sweet DIY projects she found a bird image online and used it as a template to cut out the little birds. We borrowed the fabulous log and moss stands from my friend, Becky. As always pom pom flowers make a huge impact with a low cost and little effort.
Full collection is now available in the shoppe, include invite, cupcake toppers, favor tags, welcome sign, banner, drink wraps, buffet labels, and thank you notes
Thanks Michelle for including me in this special event!
