PRINT YOUR FILES

There are many fabulous brands and paper types to use to create your paper party supplies

  1. 110lbs CARDSTOCK~ inexpensive, thick cardstock that is easy to find in most office isles (I have found at Office Depot, Target and Walmart
  2. If you plan on layering  your digital prints then I recommend BROCHURE PAPER ; it is a little thinner but the smooth bright white finish is amazing
  3. Premium Weight 8.5”x11” sheets of PHOTO PAPER (I don’t recommend if adding glitter but any other time it is perfect!)

CUPCAKE TOPPERS

  • 1. Print your file at the highest quality setting, making sure that page scaling is deselected
  • 2. Cut into 3 colums using scissors or paper cutter
  • Using your favorite shape punch center your image, and punch!
  • If you do not want to invest in punches, all my files are designed to cut out square!

  • I like to use a dab of hot glue to attach scallop circles to lollipop sticks
  • A piece of tape will work if you do not have a glue gun available

All files are designed to give you 3 style options

1. Cut out each square~ no need to invest in punches

2. Use your favorite shaped 2″ punch for single layer (hello Kitty)

3. or layer your topper with a variety of punches.

As shown…..2″ round punch was layered on a 2.25 scallop punch

 ACCENT CIRCLES

1. Follow instructions above but use the following punches or circle cutters for larger size…

Clever Lever offers a 3 1/2 ” punch and is so easy to use….

The circle cutter by Martha Stewart is harder to use, it definitely has a learning curve, but once you master it you will appreciate its smaller size for storage and that you can cut multiple sizes with just one tool

Get the glitter look…

I love glitter! To add a touch of sparkle to my toppers I use the Martha Stewart Glue Pen. It has a pen tip so you can add fine details to your toppers

Use with a high quality fine glitter….

DRINK WRAPS

1. There are many ways to achieve this fun look!

  • Laser print cut into 2×8 strips. Use double side tape strips to secure. This method it easiest to achieve but note the labels are not waterproof!!!
  • Purchase weather resist labels. I love that you don’t need a laser printer to get waterproof labels! Con- pricey and fine details can be lost but still my favorite method.
  • You can cheat the look by covering your printed label with 2″ mailing tape…Not waterproof but definitely water resistant. I recommend this method if you only have a few water bottles to cover otherwise go with the weather resist labels.
2. Look for bottles that are firm and preferably flat. {I love Target brand Archer Farm or Aquafina mini bottles}

PAPER RECOMMENDATIONS

There are many fabulous brands and paper types to use to create your paper party supplies

. From my experience these are my favorite methods:

  1. Wassau brand 110lbs cardstock~ inexpensive, thick cardstock that is easy to find in most office isles
  2. If you like to layer your prints on scrapbook cardstock I love brochure paper! It is thinner that regular cardstock but so smooth and a truer white. (For best result use a brand to match your printer if available)
  3. Photo paper. (I don’t like to use this if I am adding glitter but any other time it is perfect)

**** these are my unpaid, personal, review on products I use to create my parties.
